Ella's vocabulary has been bursting at the seams. She is now almost 17 months and has a new word almost daily. So far she has been saying: Thank you, baby, me, Jack, Mommy, Daddy, shoe, nose, snow and gotta go. Not all of these words are clear, most of them sound the same. But with her gestures, you can usually figure it out. She is also beginning to climb on the couch. She still need a little boost because her legs are so short. Poor girl got my genes.
Jack was extacic this week with our snow fall. He has always been an active child and I don't think his body feels cold. Not with snow on the ground anyway. We recieved more than 7 inches on Saturday and was begging to snow blow, scoop and sled all at the same time. It was so cold though, but I kicked him outside on Saturday night to help Daddy move snow. Then he went sledding on some piles by our house yesterday with the neighbor kids.
Will on the other hand, doesn't mind playing quietly inside. He is happiest when he is left to his own creativity and Jack and Ella are busy with something else. He has been telling these really funny stories latley. Not about anything really, just talking alot. Yesterday all the doors were locked to the children's rooms at Chrurch, so we were stuck roaming the halls. Will was trying to get them unlocked and continued to tell a Nursery worker, whom he doesn't even know, that when he grew up and got bigger he'd make a key to open the rooms, and that he had already tried opening it with his finger nail, and it didn't work. He can really make me laugh.
