I'll have to admit I was a little aprehensive sending Jack to school. I was sure he was ready since he was driving me CRAZY at home, but was he really "ready". I tried to teach him what I could at home to prepare him, but his intrest was greatly lacking.
Last night was our first parent/teacher confrence and I was so relieved to find out that he has come into his own. His teacher, Mr. Mortland, informed us that he not only loves to read and write, but he is one of the best listeners in class. He says Jack is one "I can always count on to sit quiet and listen". Wow, now only if I can get him to do that at home.
Mmmm, homemade bread. I love cold, windy days for one reason. The warm oven filling the house with smells of instant comfort. No matter what I'm baking, its an instant destresser. Today I decided on bread, my husband will be thrilled.
